Role Overview

Introduction

As a part of our global sales organization for passive and electromechanical components,  you will be responsible for sales in South – East Europe, making us the 1st point of contact for our customers and distribution partners;

 

Key activities

As an Area Sales Manager, you are actively responsible for the sales in your sales area for the entire AVX product range which requires frequent travelling between 60 to 80% of your working time;
Together with the sales management, you develop strategic goals and sales strategies and implement them independently and purposefully;
You take on customer specific requirements and accompany the technical clarification with our marketing/development departments;
Contract negotiations with our customers until completion;
You acquire new customers, build existing connections and are responsible for looking after our sales partners in your area of responsibility;
An intensive market and competition monitoring completes your area of responsibility;
You support our sales partners in the promotion of new products and technologies;
 

 

 

Qualifications

Core Requirements

You have a successfully completed commercial/technical university degree or an equivalent education;

Ideally, you could have some years of experience in technical marketing/sales of technical products that require explanation;

You are a strategically thinking and entrepreneurial sales personality with excellent communicative skills;

Knowledge in the area of passive/electromechanical components is an advantage;

Your open and professional behavior and your negotiating skills will give you the opportunity to reach the agreed targets;

You are convincing in your daily work through high self-initiative, assertiveness, organizational style and high motivation;

You are team capable, flexible, resilient and 80% ready to travel within your sales territory;

Fluent English language and proficient in computer skills;
